American Auto Trail-Mohawk Valley (Mohawk to Randall NY)

This American auto trail explores New York State’s Mohawk Valley, from Mohawk, near Utica, east to Randall.

The travel route follows New York Route 5S along the south bank of the Mohawk River and the Erie Canal.

Between Schenectady

and Utica it is the principal route of the Mohawk Valley, thickly set with

villages containing manufacturing plants.
