This driving video follows the route of the Lincoln Highway eastbound from Nevada to Marshalltown, Iowa.
In the early days of automobile travel, this road was a segment of the Official Transcontinental Route.
Named the Lincoln Highway, the route was completed through Iowa in 1913.
It connected New York City on the east coast to San Francisco on the west coast.
