PROJECT: 85 IS…

 

a celebration of the Lincoln Theatre’s 85th Anniversary. It consists of three phases.

The first is the commission and installation of a lighted blade sign on the theatre façade.

The second is the addition of a message center to increase exposure to Lincoln Theatre programs.

The final phase of the project will cover the sign installation process, and support the nonprofit itself.

The Plan:

 

Project: 85 is a celebration of the Lincoln Theatre’s 85th Anniversary. It consists of three phases.

The second is the addition of two electronic message centers to be installed just below the sign.

The final phase of the project will cover the sign installation process, and support the nonprofit itself.

The Campaign:

 

Project: 85 is a campaign with the goal of raising $85,000 to replace our historic blade sign and support the Lincoln Theatre. Sponsorship levels range from $50 to over $5000. Donations of $50 or more will receive a commemorative 85th Anniversary gift to show your support for the Lincoln Theatre and our thanks.

  • Members! Watch your mail for a special Project: 85 donation opportunity! Make your mark in history, donate to Project: 85 today!
  • Donate at least $85 and receive two invitations to our special April 21st Anniversary Celebration Event. Come join us for vaudeville fun and a silent film.
  • The subcommittee of the Mount Vernon City Council unanimously approved a sign code amendment that will allow our historically-based sign to go up. At the next full council meeting on Wednesday, April 13th, it will be put up for final approval. This is the last step in the planning process, and once approved we will be able to build and install our sign for the world to see!
