This American auto trail travels from Valdosta to Lenox, Georgia, along U.S. Highway 41.
This route was developed in the Good Roads Movement of the 1910s as the Central Florida Highway.
This first section of the auto trail is the old route of U.S. 41 from Valdosta to Hahira.
The route closely follows the former tracks of the Georgia Southern & Florida Railroad.
