This Irish auto trail begins in Dundalk, County Louth, near the Irish Sea coast.
The route follows along a portion of the old route to Belfast on the R132 before turning east to the coast around the Cooley Peninsula.
The auto trail ends at the Carlingford Lough ferry at Greenore.
